Gain valuable insights and evidence-based information to empower you in your breastfeeding journey.

  • Every breastfeeding experience is unique, my antenatal consultation recognises that. I will take the time to understand your specific concerns, goals, and any potential risk factors that may affect breastfeeding. I will address your individual needs and provide personalised recommendations to help you overcome potential obstacles.

  • Learn about the importance of colostrum, the first milk produced by your breasts, and receive guidance on how to effectively collect and store it for your baby's early feeding needs.

  • Pregnancy is the perfect time to build your confidence as a breastfeeding mother. We will discuss the physiological aspects of breastfeeding, dispel common myths, and provide practical tips to help you feel prepared and confident. You'll gain a deeper understanding of how breastfeeding works and the importance of establishing a strong bond with your baby through breastfeeding.

  • I will assist you in developing a comprehensive breastfeeding plan tailored to your circumstances. I will discuss the logistics of breastfeeding, such as creating a supportive environment, involving your partner or support network, and managing breastfeeding alongside other commitments. Together, we'll prepare you for a smooth transition into breastfeeding once your baby arrives.

  • Throughout the consultation, you'll have ample opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification on any aspect of breastfeeding. I will provide valuable resources, such as recommended reading materials, websites, and local support groups, to help you access additional information and ongoing support as needed.
